Polaroid revival crew

On the 9th of October 2009 every packet of polaroid film manufactured was said to expire.

On this date ATLAS GALLERY in London launched it's Polaroid expiration show. It contains work from Helmut Newton, Ansel Adams, Jim Goldberg, Elliot Erwitt, Robert Mapplethorpe, Andy Warhol and heaps of other shredders.

The - Impossible - Project is a group who have taken over the polaroid factory and are working on manufacturing and selling both black and white and colour polaroid film by the beginning of 2010. good news.

these are some frames from a fashion shoot that i did in august, i used a 5D mark II and a portable studio strobe on the first image.

I'm Back

Arrived back in AUS QLD from France tonight at around 11pm after about 25 hrs of travel and next to no sleep. I've got some shots that i will upload when back in Melbourne from the streets and museums of Paris to sullen sleepy medievel towns, castles on mountaintops the Med sea and French Riviera. Keep a look out.

Sonic Youth- Washing Machine

My favourite sonic yewth album probably based entirely on its cover being way better than sister's.

No Queen Blues, Panty Lies and Diamond Sea make it pretty unbeatable though in my eyes. Really good mix of Thurston and Kim but which is always important.

Emeralds- S/T... Album of the year????

This reminds me of M83's 'Let the dawn heal us'* more etheral moments where it's like it's raining but your safe in the car and you have nowhere to go and nothing to do for the rest of your life, but you really don't care.
*This album was my best non-human friend for about a solid year of my life.
