Michael Jackson passed away due to cardiac arrest thismorning, he had sold out concerts at Wembley and couldnt quite get the moonwalk to stick, this would stress me out also. Oww and Farrah Fawcett ( Charlies Angels star) passed away on the same day...Fuckin' Jackson always upstaging.

Blank Dogs

Still my favourite Blank Dogs LP/CS/7"/CD out. The Field CS is also pretty good but as you might get the drift of by the end of this, once you have one bit of Blank Dogs you got the whole thing. In fact if you've got 10mg of Valium, A joy division disc and you take those two things to the bottom of the ocean to listen to, then man.. you don't need any Blank Dogs whatsoever.

Everyone in Australia(/the world) should own this. This is one of those bands that just make you want to get drunk and start a band... Kinda like when you listen to the stooges or something (not that they sound anything like them).

This is the first 'new' album I've become obsessed with for as long as I can bother to remember. It's got plenty of blog cum on it already so I'm not going to go into it too much but in a week it has basically annihilated play counts all over my computerzzzz. Fuck... As I started writing this I put it on for the third time today.

It is a shamelessly 'tropical' record which has been the thing to do for a while now. Kinda like if the dude from Wavves grew up in a Buddhist commune but still liked to go for a surf. Very much a psychedelic record it might bore some people abit with its repetition but those people aren't really worth your time anyway (impatient fucks).
